Enrollment Info

Parents can enroll a child in the Richland School District by going directly to the school in their attendance zone.

The child’s state certified birth certificate (not the hospital certificate) and a Washington state immunization record listing dates that shots were received are required for registration. Parents will also need to show a document which verifies their address such as a utility bill or rental agreement. A school secretary will then be able to process the registration request.

If you have general enrollment questions, please call the Richland School District Administration Building at 967-6003.

Learning by Choice - Student Enrollment Options in Washington State

Most students in Washington go to the public schools that are closest to their homes. But parents and guardians have many enrollment options for their kids. Students can attend an approved private school, enroll in an Alternative Learning Experience program (such as an online school), be taught at home, or attend a charter school. In some circumstances, they can transfer to other schools within or outside the district in which they live. You can learn all the details of these and other options by reading this document........Learning by Choice - Student Enrollment Options in Washington State.
