Special Programs

The Richland School District Special Programs office encompasses many programs. The programs include Special Education, the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program, Title I, Title III, the Learning Assistance Program, and the State Transitional Bilingual Instructional Program. These state and federal programs are designed to increase learning for students. An emphasis is placed on academic support to help ensure eligible students meet our rigorous state standards.  For more information, call 967-6050.

McKinney Education for Homeless Children and Youth

The Homeless Education office at OSPI oversees the federal McKinney Education for Homeless Children and Youth program, also known as "McKinney-Vento."
